BARREN FLESH
She gave birth to man,
And he advertised her in the flesh emporium.
His greed polluted her.
Stripped her purity to the highest bidder.
They are taken to a far away world where none can follow.
Human trafficking, prostitution, slavery,
Nightmares are these words to think.
Unseen battles, suppressed tears and a ton of stigma
In the session of debauchery,
Disrobed and bargained her tired soul.
Dear God! Is this for them , you willed?
She is labeled as disrespected thing,
That is shared by the respected.
Even the little girl is also not spared,
Can’t utter a word, her tongue is sliced
She is no more the object of our,
So called ‘civilized society’
All she wish not to be born as SHE.
The lips that poured love,
These lips they auctioned.
The womb that moulded their bodies,
The body from which they sprouted,
That body they disgraced.
Our life is a gift by the creator and it’s not for sale.
Let our mind be filled with the scriptures of reasoning heart with bloods of humanity.
MY TIRED EYES
Longing to see eternal peace.
Power mongers have some shame,
We all are tired of walking in the pavement of barbaric blocks.
Roads are stained with blood baths.
My tiny ears can’t stand the painful yelling of mothers.
My naked eyes seeing the flood of dead bodies ,
Wish to be blind.
The gory of blood shed road,
Make me mute.
Mass ruins of town,
Make me paralyse too.
Civilization is on the edge of ashes.
It’s a hard picture to draw and too hard to be photographed.
Sow the seeds of love and breed humanity.
Spun thread of non violence,
Play the tune of amity.
Peace can only be gained when we sparkle love.
Let hope not be the luxury word
which we cannot attain.
War is not the solution,
Only hatred gets the victory,
And the trauma last for ages.
Free us from the shackles of exploitation,
Allow us to breathe.
ODE TO MY PARENTS
Holding my hands you have taught me
How to measure the right scales of life.
Croon me once more that sugary lullaby
Which will take me out of this unethical world.
You have always wiped away
My trepidation, my hidden blubbering.
Your love for me is to the depth, breadth and height.
You are always a source of motivation to me.
Your words have strengthened me.
For me you are all in all.
My Almighty, my friend, my mentor.
The joy of being your daughter
Is like a gift to me from the heaven above.
Our future will be gold where we will stay one.
Be it a joy or sorrow
In my next birth I crave to have
The bliss of your lap.
BLUR NURSERY DAYS
Eat, sleep, study and play
This was my childhood.
We lived in a cozy room, blooming with spring all the time.
Time favoured ,shifted to a mansion.
Worse luck, time was jealous of my euphoria,
Snatched away my crown.
Each night the vacant rooms slay me.
The mansion seized my happiness.
The fight in this unethical world is unending.
The sneaky monarch rules with grace.
I was born timid but time moulded me into loudmouth,
I don’t like my hybrid reflection.
But that’s what the populace demanded.
From the core of my heart I really miss my childhood days.
I search myself in the polluted jostling crowd.
Alas! I have lost my innocence,
A child don’t judge
A child don’t boil in abhor
A child don’t thunder with words
Childhood is love, it’s a treasure
And the child inside us should remain chirping forever.
MYSTIC NATURE
The dawn is gleeful,
Mystic beauty is hiding in the lap of mother nature.
The morning sun energies us for a new world.
The lullaby of chirping birds soothes our ears.
The river water quenches our thirsty pain.
Juicy fruits energize us to struggle.
Every drop of rain sprouts a new life.
Charismatic rainbow capture our vivid eyes,
And colour our lips.
Afternoon is glazed with azure blue sky,
Which strengthens us to fight.
The hustling wind trembles our feet.
The Forest organise fair of colours,
Fragrance of wild flowers purifies our body.
Nature is a blessing from the heaven above.
The smell of the ocean and music of waves refresh our soul.
The dew drops glisten in the wintry morning.
The night sky kissed with starry diamonds.
We are just the tiny dots in this universe,
Bounty nature is a healthy man host pub.
