Birland is a blessed state that is born in concord
On our planet there are some spaces known as „Terra Nullius“, it is a Latin expression that means „no man’s land“ and that is used to designate the land that is not owned by any person or State, as it is a „Territory without an owner”. The precondition for the valid acquisition of sovereignty through the occupation of a territory is: that there is no sovereign in it when the act of occupation occurs.
Birland, also known as Bir Tawil land, is a desert on the African continent located between Sudan and Egypt. It was always described on maps as „Terra Nullius“, that is, no man’s land. Being one of the few habitable land areas left in the world that was not claimed by any recognized state.
Over the years, many people tried to reclaim the land by raising their flag and taking photos of themselves in this land known as Bir Tawil. However, no one tried to establish an internationally recognized country.
However, King Emir A. Haiyawi, an international civil rights activist, who grew up in Europe and was always passionate about humanitarian causes, when he heard about Bir Tawil, No Man’s Land, and saw photos of some locals, who are nomads and live in precarious huts, who are stateless, do not have a birth certificate, marriage certificate, identity card or passport; people who received no education; nor the basic sanitation conditions such as drinking water …
King Emir A. Haiyawi, endowed with an anthropocentric vision, which makes him aware that man possesses all the intellectual and vital capacity to project the actions that lead to his permanent evolution and is capable of displaying his creativity to solve all problems that slow down the development of their fellow men.
In an attempt to counteract the structural problems that afflict the nomadic populations that inhabit the territory, King Emir A. Haiyawi, with his deep sense of humanity, surrounded himself with experienced people and decided to seriously establish this land as a royal country, not as a political country, but as a humanitarian country, to give dignity and a home to stateless people in this world.
Managing to officially found the State of Birland in 2015. Remaining as HRM King Emir A. Haiyawi. His royal title was conferred by the King of the Kingdom of Ezeigbo Ohanaeze, in the Central Region of Ghana, King Denis Okafor.
The State of Birland was recognized by many countries, being an official member of the Economic Community of the sixth region of the African continent.
With an area of 2,060 square kilometers, it exceeds the territory of many countries such as Malta, Brunei, Bahrain, Singapore and Dubai.
Birland is a land with its own political border, landlocked and accessible through Sudan. Like any independent country, its government has plans to build an airport in the future.
The Ababda (an ethnic group from eastern Egypt and Sudan; historically nomads who lived in the area between the Nile and the Red Sea), enter the territory of what is now the Birland State, to graze their herds. They have a small town where they live in huts. However, they do not have documentation, any type of basic services, since no country has accepted them. There are currently around 3,000 stateless persons waiting to receive official Birland citizenship.
The new State adopted the English language as the official language, although the population that is in the territory speaks some languages of the surroundings.
Together with HRM King Emir A. Haiyawi, women and men of good will with humanitarian and service ideals met, forming the new State. Achieving recognition as a State by various nations of the world.

State of Birland’s National Anthem Words & Music by Samuel C. Trinidad:
National anthem of the State of Birland
Once called “A No Man’s Land”
BirTawil a place where no one wants
But for noble Kings and a Queen
You are a “Promised Land!”
So they show to all your beauty,
Your worthiness, your majesty
With one voice, one heart, one desire
Together we shall stand!
State of Birland, State of Birland
You are a Paradise
Hope for hopeless, Home for homeless
You are a mighty Fortress!
You are a dwelling place
Land of Love, of Joy and Peace
State of Birland, State of Birland
Forever we shall stand!
State of Birland, State of Birland,
God gave and bless our Land!
