Biography:
Isilda Nunes is a Portuguese artist, writer and poet who holds an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy, Letters, Arts and Humanities in Barcelona. She has won several awards and her writings have been published in anthologies, magazines and newspapers in around fifty countries and translated into more than forty languages. She is the co-author of a hundred national and international anthologies and the author of books of poetry and prose. She is a member of the board of several national and international movements and, among other positions, she is Founder and Vice-President of UMEA; Chairwoman of the Language, Literature Committee of the Modern Pythian Games; WPM Coordinator; Member of the Board of Directors of Editorial Atunis etc.
